Patchogue and Fire Island, from our front door

Everything below is within about a mile of the house, or a short boat ride away.

The bay, right out front

The house looks straight out at the Great South Bay, next to Shorefront Park and Rider Park. The Shorefront Band Shell is next door, and you can watch its concerts from the patio. Most evenings, the sunset over the water is the show.

Beaches

The Patchogue Beach Club, with a pool and a beach, is within walking distance (small fee). Corey Beach is about a 9 minute drive.

Fire Island

The Davis Park ferry terminal is about half a mile from the house, roughly a 4 minute drive, and water taxis also serve Fire Island. A day on Fire Island is the classic trip from here: leave the car in the driveway and go by boat.

Downtown Patchogue

Dining and nightlife are about a mile away in downtown Patchogue. Walk or take a short drive, and make an evening of it.

Getting here from NYC

The LIRR Montauk Branch station is about a mile from the house, with a direct line toward New York City. If you drive, the driveway fits 2 to 3 cars.
